Sam W. Shublom - Accordion Parts

Hello, thanks for visiting my site.  It is with both regret and relief that I announce I am "retiring" from the accordion parts business.  Health problems, family obligations, a more than full time job and above all a dollar that goes half as far as it used to in Italy, are the reasons that I have come to this decision. Eight years ago a Euro cost $0.80.  As of this writing (31 May 2008) it is about $1.60.  In addition to that, shipping has just about doubled, so gettng a shipment of straps and parts from Italy now results in ridiculous prices. So, I am hunkering down and waiting for better times. I haven't had time to work on an accordion in about 5 years.  There are about 80 of them waiting for me in the basement, so I would like to get back to that. Thanks for your past patronage. Sam
